NSI strengthens its presence in the Leiden bio-science park with an acquisition of 21 million euros

NSI acquired, as part of an off-market transaction, an office building at Mendelweg 30 in Leiden Bio Science Park. The 21 million euro building, representing a gross initial yield of 6.3%, offers 6,234 mÂ² of modern offices and 140 parking spaces and is fully let to Airbus Defense and Space for a residual lease term of a little over 3 years. The building has an A + energy label.
Leiden Bio Science Park is one of the main European life science clusters and is on the way to becoming a multifunctional innovation hub, supported by ambitious densification plans, excellent accessibility and infrastructure. The demand for offices and laboratories is expected to exceed supply: over the period 2020-2025, the supply is expected to grow by around 25%, while the additional demand is expected to approach 35%, as the number of businesses is expected to increase. go from 350 currently to more than 500 by 2025.
